Welcoming New Faculty – Dr. Dian Yang

We would like to welcome new faculty member, Dian Yang, PhD to the Department as of September 2023. Dr. Yang joins us from MIT where he was a post-doctoral fellow with Jonathan Weissman. Dr. Yang's laboratory will focus on combining his expertise in cancer biology and technology development to uncover the cell-intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms by which cancer cells maintain or switch their identities particularly in metastasis.
